Met verhaal van iemand:
We once had a decent band with a good singer , and 5 years ago disaster happened for the singer.
His wife and young daughter were cycling and got in a accident where a big truck turned left and didnt see them, and his wife died and his daughter infured badly - but she made it eventually.
This destroyed him totally, and he shut down the band and basically himself as well. he got fat(ter), long hair long beard and were pretty suicidal and noone saw him basically for 3 years, where the only reason he didnt kill himself was because of his daughter.
In 2010 there were some interviews with him that just made every cry including the reporters interviewing him .
anyways.
Then on roskilde Festival in 2010, denmark (probably) best current band were playing for 60.000 people and basically got him back on stage for one song and his first real performance since the accident.
His whole situation, his facial expressions of being "back at home" on stage, with his newfound anger at life combined with his fantastic voice makes this simply a performance that allways gets me emotional.
ITs in danish so you wont understand the lyrics, but watch it , have the volume turned up high and think of his situations when he enters the stage and how the band and crowd responds to him - and how fantastic he actually sings.
And also seeing how he enters, starting with basically closed eyes and slowly opening up getting "back" to his former selv of being a frontman and performer.
