Voor de mensen die in de nabije toekomst langs Suvarnabhumi Airport komen. Hou rekening met lange wachttijden en ga op tijd naar de luchthaven!.

Ik kreeg op mijn werk namelijk de volgende waarschuwing:
Recently there have been some major hold ups for passengers clearing Immigration at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. The Thai Immigration Service is struggling to provide sufficient counter staff for this operation leading to very long queues. Bangkok Air in particular have posted a warning that all international passengers on their flights should take full advantage of the three hour check-in. We also believe that passengers checking in for any international flight should do the same and try to check-in three hours before departure.
There have been many cases of passengers missing their flights due to this congestion.

Dit is trouwens niet alleen van toepassing bij het land uitgaan maar ook bij het land binnenkomen. Normaliter doe ik er een half uurtje over, de laatste keer liep dit op tot 2 uur.
